The Name of the Game is Adaptability

It was a long day. I had spent the majority of the day working out of a Panera, then we had our failure of an Airbnb, and finally now we were in our hotel. We were lucky, with people finally starting to travel again we snagged the last room available.
I was impressed with how adaptable my mom, in particular, was being. I'm fairly good with shaking off the things you cannot control (although in this case we 100% could've controlled this), but her ability to pivot and still be in a great mood was impressive. We unpacked our things, got our car into a secure garage, and went off to explore New Orleans!

Even after having to switch accommodations, we still had some dayligh to burn. Our hotel was in the Central Business District, which is walking distance to Bourbon St. Across from our hotel was the only black female owned bar in the city (or at least that's what the bartender told us). One block over was a brand new rooftop bar with a vibrant atmosphere ontop of the Selina Catahoula hotel. The Selina offers an unique feature, CoLive , where you can rent a room on a monthly 'subscription' basis to work and live out of. CoLive is a great option if you are able to work remote, and want a longer stay in one area.

We had a few drinks, and then wandered back to the hotel to call it a night.
