Back to the regularly scheduled program, we arrived at Albuquerque. The Hotel Albuquerque couldn’t have been better located. Sister to the more expensive hotel next door, The Hotel Albuquerque could still be categorized as a luxury stay. Mere steps away is The Sawmill Market, an inside flea market of trendy eateries.

It was back to the work week, so after I worked we wandered the hotel and had a quick glance at Route 66 for the first time.

We did a lot of shopping, and then headed off to our final stop in NM.
