Truth or Consequences, NM

So, we set off for our 3rd stay in 3 days at Truth or Consequences. When we were leaving Las Cruces, we ended up having to go through Border Control for some reason.

We were able to get to Truth or Consequences, NM within an hour or two. Let me tell you, it is an absolute must. We stayed at the Blackwater Hotel in the Wonder Woman room (fitting, I know). In the room was a mineral spring that was the catalyst for this entire diversion to the town.

Once I had my soak, that town could do no wrong. It should be noted that most of the town is still closed because of Covid, and if I were to go back I’d stay at the hotel right on the Rio Grande. Even if everything was opened, it’s a very small town. There was one restaurant, one grocer, and no where to buy a post card.

Even still, I would highly recommend a short stay in Truth or Consequences.
